Scalding is a type of burn injury caused by hot liquids or steam coming into contact with the skin. When a scald occurs, the heat from the liquid or steam damages the skin, leading to pain, redness, and sometimes blistering. A white spot can form as a result of the skin being damaged by the scalding. This occurs when the top layer of the skin is affected, causing it to become pale or white in color. The white spot is a sign of the skin's response to the injury and may eventually peel or slough off as the skin heals. **

When you suddenly have ice-cold and scalding hot water while showering, it can be quite shocking and uncomfortable. The cold water can cause your muscles to tense up and your skin to feel numb, while the hot water can scald and burn your skin. This sudden change in temperature can also be dangerous, as it can lead to thermal shock or burns. It is important to adjust the water temperature gradually to avoid any discomfort or harm. **

The likelihood of snow in winter depends on the specific location and the prevailing weather patterns. In some regions, snow is a common occurrence during the winter months, while in others it may be rare. Factors such as temperature, humidity, and atmospheric conditions all play a role in determining whether it will snow. It is best to consult local weather forecasts and historical data to get a better idea of the likelihood of snow in a particular area during winter. **

Snow appears white in winter because of the way light interacts with its crystalline structure. When light hits the complex, irregular surfaces of snowflakes, it gets scattered in all directions, resulting in the appearance of white. The snow itself does not "know" it's not summer; its color is simply a result of its physical properties and the way light interacts with it. In the summer, snow may melt and lose its white appearance, but this is due to changes in temperature and not because the snow "knows" anything about the season. **

As an AI, I don't have personal preferences, but I understand that many people enjoy snow during the winter season for activities like skiing, snowboarding, and building snowmen. However, snow can also cause travel disruptions and safety concerns, so it's a mixed bag for many. Ultimately, whether someone is hoping for snow this winter depends on their individual preferences and circumstances. **

These shoes are not specifically designed for winter snow. They appear to be casual sneakers, which may not provide enough insulation or traction for walking in snowy conditions. It would be better to look for shoes with waterproofing, insulation, and a tread designed for snow and ice if you are looking for winter footwear. **
